Mary Lou Sapone’s relayed information

November 29, 2010

BBI subcontractor Mary Lou Sapone forwarded reports received from her "operative" (Dick Rogers) in Lake Charles, LA, a former high school science teacher who infiltrated a local environmental group (and Greenpeace ally) -- CLEAN. Handwriting on many of the emails that Ward received from Sapone (many containing reports from Rogers) suggests that Ward used the reports to brief CONDEA Vista (Sasol) executive Pete Markey.

The first page suggests that via Rogers/Sapone, BBI was able to inform CONDEA Vista about events before they happened. On the second page, Sapone references a “Hamburg, Germany
Project,” which her daughter-in-law (Montgomery McFate) may have attempted to infiltrate a Greenpeace office in Hamburg. The final email in this batch is Rogers’ report on a Greenpeace strategy meeting, which he attended, representing CLEAN.
