Washington, DC- In response to EPA Chief Scott Pruitt’s anticipated new rule that would limit the science the EPA utilizes in writing regulations, Greenpeace USA Senior Research Specialist Tim Donaghy said,

“The only science that Scott Pruitt and his dwindling group of supporters want to protect is junk science from polluters and climate deniers. Don’t be fooled by Pruitt’s flimsy attempts to market the merits of this ill-advised policy. The sole agenda of the EPA under the Trump administration is to open doors for lobbyists and industry executives at the expense of clean air, drinkable water and a safe climate. This is just a last gasp from a man whose days leading the EPA are looking numbered.”
