August 27: Activism & Storytelling
One of the best tools you can have as an activist is the ability to share your story. Stories connect us with one another, make people feel the urgency of our causes, and help us win victories. This training will give you the basics of how to talk to others about the climate crisis through your own story, and how to compellingly share that story across the many digital channels we all have at our fingertips. We’ll talk through great examples of storytelling in activism, and tips for using your story for recruitment, talking to the media, and more.
