Our fundraising work

Welcome to the Fundraising hub of Greenpeace! Here, we provide passionate individuals like you with the opportunity to contribute to a cause that protects our planet and its future. Your financial support empowers our mission to advocate for environmental justice and create real, lasting change.

To maintain our independence, we do not accept donations from governments or corporations but rely on contributions from individual supporters and foundation grants. People like you enable Greenpeace to investigate, campaign, document, and lobby for a sustainable balance between humans and the environment worldwide. You can sign up as a Greenpeace donor through the following fundraising channels.

All donations are in Philippine currency. If you need an official receipt for your donation, please send us a copy of the deposit slip or a screenshot of the e-wallet/bank transfer to [email protected]

Where your donations go

In Southeast Asia, we have 58,665 financial donors from all walks of life who support our work. Because of them, we are able to campaign for a greener future by investigating, documenting and lobbying for the protection of our climate, forests, oceans, freshwater, and food.

Donor rights

At Greenpeace, we highly respect donor privacy and adhere to our security policy to preserve donor information. We commit to send regular information and updates about the movement and its campaigns to our donors. Most of our campaign updates are sent through email, and some by post mail. Occasionally, donors receive exclusive invites to Greenpeace events for a chance to meet other planet warriors who are also making a difference in protecting our environment.

Donor stories and impact

Hear from those who have already joined us on this journey. Our donor testimonials showcase the stories of individuals who have contributed to Greenpeace Philippines. Learn about their motivations, the changes they’ve witnessed, and why they believe in the power of collective action.

Supporting Greenpeace is never a bad choice. Before becoming a donor, I wouldn’t say that I was already an advocate, but I was definitely interested in going zero-waste. Using single-use plastic made me guilty. Seeing less plastic in my trash bin has been motivating. Since I already had an idea about climate change and zero-waste organizations, I signed up to become a donor that day.

Jessa supports Greenpeace because she understands that individual lifestyle changes aren’t enough to stop the planet’s deterioration, corporations and governments should also act on the climate emergency. “I appreciate how Greenpeace calls out the largest global polluters,” she adds.

Jessa Velez, 23-year-old loyal donor from Cavite

“As a former Greenpeace direct dialogue campaigner, I’ve seen firsthand the importance of donations in sustaining the organization’s campaigns and advocacies.

Aside from working for Greenpeace, avoiding throwaway food packs, and using reusable utensils when dining out, I’ve decided to deepen my commitment to the environment and allocate a portion of my earnings to support the organization’s advocacy.

The Earth needs us! Let’s not get tired of supporting organizations like Greenpeace! They need our conitnuous support to work on our environmental problems. Donating is the least we can do.”

Monrey Lao, donor

“I first encountered Greenpeace in 2006 when I was strolling at a mall in Makati. One of their campaigners approached me for a chat, and a few minutes later I signed up as a financial supporter. It was an easy decision for me because I believe that it is the least that I can do to continue taking care of the environment.

We were created to live freely and happily, but we have a deeper purpose – to be responsible stewards of our environment. We can do so by improving our lifestyle and by supporting different environmental advocacies.

If you think that you are alone in this journey, you’re not. We’re together fighting a good fight. This is beyond our own. Expand your network and join every call to defend our Mother Earth.

Josephine Ramos, loyal donor for more than 18 years
