١٣ نوفبر ٢٠١٦: شاركت اليوم منظمة غرينبيس في مسيرة المناخ في مراكش، الى جانب المجتمع المدني المغربي ومنظمات عالمية أخرى والآلاف من المشاركين، للمطالبة بضرورة الانتقال السريع الى عالم ١٠٠٪ طاقة متجددة.
 

حمل أعضاء المنظمة المشاركين في المسيرة لافتات كتب عليها بالخط العريض “١٠٠٪ طاقة متجددة” و”#الشمس_تجمعنا” باللغتين العربية والانجليزية، تضماناً مع المجتمع المدني في مطلبهم نحو عالم أكثر صحة وأماناً.

قالت مديرة غرينبيس المتوسط في العالم العربي وشمال افريقيا، غالية فياض:” انها مسيرة تؤكد ان مجتمعاتنا المحلية بدأت تعي ان التغير المناخي هي ظاهرة تهدد كوكبنا وعلينا مواجهتها سريعاً، ومشاركتنا اليوم هي للضغط على صناع القرار في قمة المناخ بضرورة الانتقال السريع الى عالم ١٠٠٪ طاقة متجددة”.

Greenpeace took part in the climate march held in Marrakesh alongside thousands of participants from Moroccan civil society and international NGOs, urging for a shift to a 100% renewable energy world.

Marchers held banners with ‘100% RE’ and ‘Sun Unites Us’ in both Arabic and English, supporting civil society’s demands for a healthier and safer world.

Ghalia Fayad, Programme Leader for Greenpeace Mediterranean, Arab World and North Africa, said: “This march confirms the fact that our local communities realise that climate change is a real threat to our planet and we have to act quickly. Our participation today aims at pressuring COP22 decision makers into the shift to a 100% RE world.

Lors de la marche pour le climat à Marrakech, Greenpeace appelle à bâtir un monde alimenté entièrement par les énergies renouvelables

Greenpeace a participé à la marche pour le climat qui a eu lieu à Marrakech aux côtés de milliers de participants. Cet événement a réuni des membres de la société civile marocaine ainsi que des ONG internationales. Tous ont appelé à opérer la transition vers un monde alimenté entièrement par les énergies renouvelables

Les manifestants brandissaient des pancartes où l’on pouvait lire, en arabe et en anglais, des slogans tels que “100% Energies renouvelables” et “Le Soleil Nous Unit”, soutenant ainsi les exigences de la société civile pour un monde plus sain et plus sûr

“Cette manifestation confirme le fait que les communautés locales sont conscientes que le changement climatique est une menace réelle pour notre planète et que nous devons agir rapidement. Notre participation aujourd’hui doit mettre la pression sur les décideurs de la COP22 afin qu’ils effectuent la transition vers un monde alimenté entièrement par les énergies renouvelables”, a déclaré Ghalia Fayad, responsable des programmes de Greenpeace Méditerranée pour le Monde arabe et l’Afrique du nor
