Cities are the modern-day hubs of our economy, culture, and society. But our cities have now also become hubs of the pollution resulting from the “convenience mindset” and throwaway culture that our fast-paced and modern lifestyles have spawned. What we do now to our cities – pollution, unsustainable consumption, urban decay – will become the norm of the future, if we don’t act now. We can be the generation that ends the age of destruction and overconsumption.
