Ummah for Earth
Our Ummah in Malaysia stands united, bound by a common goal: to combat climate change. We are already feeling the impacts, and the urgency is clear. Now is the time to take decisive steps and find effective solutions.
The problem
The environmental issue is obvious: mountains of garbage, deforestation, homes flooded, endless conflicts, and compromised healthcare. Climate change and environmental imbalance threaten life on our planet, humanity and the most vulnerable communities worldwide.
It is our responsibility as humans and Muslims to preserve the balance given by The Creator and live in harmony with the environment that surrounds us.
What can be done
At Ummah for Earth, we believe in the power of unity and faith to drive meaningful change. We are dedicated to highlighting the human side of climate stories and standing up for those hit hardest by climate injustices. We urgently call on Malaysian leaders, religious figures, and communities to rise up and take decisive action for our planet.
Together, as one Ummah, we have a sacred duty to protect the Earth. By focusing on equity, social and environmental justice, we can create a brighter, more sustainable future for all.
