You will be a skilled visual storyteller with a keen eye for the latest trends and a thirst for experimenting with and testing new ideas and formats. Comfortable both in front of and behind the lens, you can create great content on the fly.

● Use audience research insights to initiate and implement creative, experimental, and playful content.
● Ensure all outputs align with Greenpeace Southeast Asia’s goals and optimize them for maximum impact.

Social Media Expertise:
● Stay updated on current and emerging social media channels.
● Identify and share regional and global trends that can effectively reach our audiences.

Strategic and Cost-effective Content Creation:
● Proactively identify fast, strategic, and cost-effective methods for content creation.
● Demonstrate expert knowledge of video and photo production techniques, including mobile-first optimization and storytelling/scripting.

● Work with country teams to deliver fast-turnaround creative content for various social media channels.
● Ensure systematic testing and optimization of all content.

Creative Briefs and Production Leadership:
● Collaborate with the project/campaign team and/or creative coordinator to develop and complete creative briefs.
● Lead and manage the entire content production process.

Media Library Management:
● Perform media library tasks, including uploading photos and videos with keyword-based captions.
● Build understanding and capacity in media library management within national offices.

Content Analysis and Archive Development:

● Create an impactful, locally relevant archive of evergreen images, illustrations, and footage.
● Ensure the archive is usable by country teams for fundraising and program purposes.

Requirements

Essential Skills● Proven professional experience in video production, with a portfolio showcasing previous work.
● Strong technical proficiency in video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop) and familiarity with AI tools used in video production.
● Knowledge of mobile-first visual production techniques and standards & digital optimization
● Experience in scripting and storyboarding.
● Experience in working effectively to tight deadlines with multiple projects.
● Fluent in spoken and written English
● Ability to travel as required and flexibility around working hours.
● Knowledge of 3D animation; VR/AR
Bonus Points● Proven success in reaching audiences through publishing content on social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Tiktok.
● Experience in making editorial judgments using content principles and knowledge of copyright and licensing regulations.
● Fluent written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia;
