1. Credit Card Payments Donations made by credit card are processed instantly. A recurring monthly payment is set up and made around the 1st of every month. In the event a transaction fails, we will attempt to process the payment again and contact the donor if we continue to be unsuccessful. Note:
- The first credit card transaction will be processed immediately. A recurring monthly payment will be established to process your ongoing donations around the 1st of every month.
- Monthly donation via credit card will continue after the expiry date of the credit card and with the issuance of a new card, unless we are informed otherwise.
- Donations over HK$100 are tax-deductible. Monthly donors will receive a digital annual receipt by email in April or May each year following the end of the financial year in March. Digital donation receipts for one-off donations are emailed instantly. (Reminder: The receipt may be categorised as “junk mail” or delivered to “Promotions” folder. You may wish to add us to your Contact to avoid similar situation.)
