At a time when Big Oil and gas companies are doing everything they can to silence climate voices and profit off disaster, we think it’s time to flip the script to laugh at their reckless, conscience-free behavior, let go of personal guilt, and feel empowered to take action.
That’s why Greenpeace East Asia has teamed up with the brilliant animation studio Wit & Wisdom to launch a bold new project. It’s an animated TV comedy series about climate change, corporate greed, and climate grief, told in a way that’s never been done before. We aim to create an animated comedy TV series about climate change and climate grief and put it on streaming services!

A thrilling new animated series using comedy and satire to expose the greed and deception threatening our world.
The story follows 15-year-old Bella and her not-so-cuddly “carbon footprint” Betty as they travel through time, exposing the truth about climate change and confronting corporations that try to hide it.
Last year, we dropped a 1-minute trailer during World Animation Day—giving a taste of what this world might look like. It’s bouncy, wild, and a little outrageous—think Rick & Morty meets The Simpsons, but with a climate twist.
But that was just the beginning.
Behind that teaser is a whole My Pet Footprint universe waiting to be explored. A world that unpacks how the fossil fuel industry literally externalized guilt and turned it into our personal “carbon footprints” all while profiting off of climate disasters that is impacting everybody’s livelihoods and our future.
Now, we’re ready to bring it to life. But we can’t do it without your help.
