Toronto — In reaction to the exclusion decisions from Norges Bank, Greenpeace Canada Senior Energy Strategist Keith Stewart said:
“One of the largest investors in the world is saying the oil sands emperors have no clothes when it comes to action on climate change, so they’re out. This is the way the world is heading and we can stick our fingers in our ears in the hopes the climate crisis will magically disappear, or we can focus our post-pandemic recovery on investments in good jobs building climate solutions. Only one of those paths leads to a safe and prosperous future.”
