19 July 2018 (MONTREAL) — Five Greenpeace Canada activists are climbing the Montreal Olympic Park tower to deploy a 10x25m banner on which can be read ‘Don’t dirty our money: Stop Pipelines’. This is an act of peaceful resistance to the Trans Mountain Expansion pipeline and tanker project (TMX) which Prime Minister Justin Trudeau intends to buy with taxpayers’ money for $4.5 billion if no private buyer is secured.

WHO: 5 climbers from Quebec who are opposed to the Trans Mountain expansion pipeline (TMX) and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s plan to proceed with the buyout of the failing project on July 22nd.
