Jesse Firempong is a communications officer and the wildfires response lead at Greenpeace Canada. She lives on Tla’amin traditional territory in coastal B.C. At Greenpeace, she helps tell the stories of environmental injustice (and solutions) in Canada and around the world. Jesse has a Master’s in International Development and has worked on climate and human rights issues in Canada, Ghana, Botswana and Malawi. You can find her in the woods, with her nose in a book, or sassing pop culture with friends.
