Greenpeace Belgium is looking for an intern with strong knowledge and understanding of the Belgian media landscape. This is an excellent learning opportunity for a student to get hands-on experience focused on press relations in an international environmental organization, with high impact.

You

  • Want to change the world, fix our climate and care about our ecological challenges
  • Are currently pursuing a degree in communications, public relations, journalism or any related field
  • Are passionate about and experienced in press relations, media and language
  • Are able to translate complicated matters into understandable and newsworthy stories
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Are an expert in either French or Dutch grammar
  • Have great organizational and analytical skills
  • Have excellent knowledge of French or Dutch, and you have a practical knowledge of the other language (Dutch/French) and English

What you will be doing

  • Support the press officers in their daily job: media monitoring, press review, writing and publishing press releases 
  • Be part of a project team and contribute actively to it
  • Support the comms team with more general communication tasks: writing blogs, translating texts, … 
  • Collaborate with other departments of Greenpeace Belgium
