Donate to Protect Fur Seals
A thousand fur seals, many of them pups, have been found dead and starved. But there is hope. Take action for ocean protection today!
Regular donations are once every four weeks
Beneath the waves, a crisis is unfolding
Climate change, pollution and overfishing are pushing the oceans to the brink of collapse.
Precious marine life, like fur seals, are at risk. A thousand fur seals, many of them baby seals, have been found dead and starved along the coastline of Kaikōura.
Scientists tell us that ocean sanctuaries can provide the solution – spaces where marine life and ecosystems can recover and thrive, restoring the health of the ocean.

Greenpeace is taking action
We’re confronting the industries that are engaging in unsustainable fishing practices and driving climate change.
And we’re calling for the New Zealand Government to take action to create new global ocean sanctuaries that will protect ocean life, like New Zealand seal colonies.
Together, we can bring to life a future where the oceans teem with life.
Our promise to you
Because Greenpeace does not accept funding from governments or corporations we rely on donations from individuals. This means we take our responsibility towards you and your donation very seriously. We work to a strict set of fundraising principles and treat our supporters with respect and honesty.
