In this edition of Umoja, we hand over the reins to our vibrant volunteer network around the continent. Volunteers from Cameroon, Senegal, Kenya, the DRC and South Africa tell us about their reasons for choosing to become involved and share some of their experiences as a Greenpeace volunteer. From taking the first steps, to fighting for the protection of the Congo Basin and tackling plastic pollution, our volunteers form an integral part of the Greenpeace Africa family.
