Nairobi, 11 May 2018 – Following the disaster that struck residents of Solai village in Nakuru on 09 May 2018 and killed over 40 people and left hundreds homeless, Greenpeace Africa would like to expressed its compassion and solidarity to the people of Kenya.
It will probably take a few more days, maybe weeks before the total extent of this disaster can be confirmed. But for sure, this is considered one of the worst calamities that the country has experienced. Our thoughts go to the families and friends of the victims and the hundreds of people left homeless.
